Mua Gas Limited - Temporary Road Closure & 20MPH Speed Limit - A256 Haine Road, Ramsgate - 22nd April 2024 (Thanet District)

Due to works planned to be undertaken by Mua Gas Limited, it will be necessary to close part of A256 Haine Road, Ramsgate, from 22nd April 2024 with estimated completion by 3rd May 2024.

A256 Haine Road, Ramsgate, will be closed between the junctions of B2050 Manston Road and A256 Canterbury Road West, between the hours of 21:00 and 05:00 only, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via A256 Canterbury Road West, A299 Canterbury Road East, A255 Canterbury Road East, A255 Nethercourt Circus, A255 Nethercourt Hill, A255 High Street, B2014 Newington Road, B2050 Manston Road, A256 Haine Road and vice versa.

A mandatory 20MPH speed limit will be imposed on A256 Haine Road, between the junctions of B2050 Manston Road and A256 Canterbury Road West.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while allow utility works to be carried out works are undertaken by Mua Gas Limited.
